Yangon river to see the busy harbour area, from where ferries leave to upcountry towns along the Ayarwaddy

Breakfast at hotel,trip to the ancient capital of Bago about 2hours drive northeast of Yangon.Visit
Shwemawdaw pagoda which has a stupa inlaid with diamonds and is Bago’s golden landmark, Shwethalyaung pagoda
which dates from 994 and is revered throughout Myanmar as the most beautiful Reclining Buddha, Hin Thar Kone
Pagoda to see the Spirit house . From Bago,drive to small town of Kyaikhto where Golden Rock Pagoda exit .
The climb to Hilltop offers magnificent view over surrounding countryside & sunset views from Kyaikhtio hill
are amazing.Lunch at rest.Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel, drive down to the base . Then continue south towards Mawlamyaine city through seemingly
endless rice fields. On the way stop in Thaton which was once the center of Mon Kingdom that may have stretch
as far east as Cambodia. You will visit Shwezayan Pagoda, home to a famous standing Buddha stele in the
classic Mon style, with interesting stone carvings dating back to the 10th Century. The main road ends at a
town called Mottama from where take a short ferry ride across the Thanlwin River to Mawlamyine city , the
third largest city in Myanmar. Check in hotel and lunch at hotel then start exploring Mawlamyine.Dinner &
overnight at Hotel .
Breakfast at hotel ,drive south to Win Sein Toya near Mudon, where the largest reclining Buddha in the
world is under construction . Continue to KyeikMaYaw to see a big sitting Buddha housed in pagoda,visit
Mawlamyine’s small museum(if open),local market&old colonial style houses.Late afternoon,drive up into
the nearby hills which are home to many pagoda and monasteries and visit view point to enjoy beautiful
sunset views over the harbour and out across the River.Lunch and dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel .
Early breakfast at hotel and transfer to jetty to get ferry from Mawlamyine across to Mottama . Then continue
return to Yangon on a long drive.Lunch and dinner at restaurant .Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel , transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan , Ancient city. Tour including famous
temples and Archeological sites ,visit Htilo-Minlo Temple(famous for its plaster carving),
Kyansittha-U-Min(a tunnel with interesting mural painting),Mingala Zedi (the last of the large pagodas built
in the 13thCentury, representing the pinnacle of Myanmar Pagoda architecture) ,
Dhamma-Yangyi Temple ( the highest and the massive one) , Ananda Temple ( An architectural masterpiece),
Nyaung Oo Market and lacquer ware house.Lunch&dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel,drive to Popa Mountain resort not far from Bagan and sightseeing Mt.Popa ,is a forest
clad landmark arising 5000ft above sea level & is a place of special importance both the country’s history &
culture. Visit the Nat shrine at the foot of the mountain, to get to know the Nats-Mythical spiritual beings
with sad, interesting legends .Lunch at the Popa mountain resort . Then return to Bagan and continue visit
old temples such as Gubyaukgyi Temple with its fine stucco work,Nanpaya temple,built in the Mon style with
intricate stone carving then in the evening watching Sunset with panoramic view along Ayarwaddy river on
boat. Dinner at restaurant and Overnight at hotel .

hill & hillsides are dotted with numerous pagodas and monasteries.Visit Kaunghmudaw Pagoda which is painted
white and has a huge egg-shaped dome in Ceylonese style. Lunch at restaurant.From Sagaing ,continue by road
and visit Thanboddhay Pagoda, the richly decorated central stupa has no less than 845 smaller stupas around
it. Inside the pahto, you will see thousands of Buddha images(reportedly over 500,000)decorating every wall ,
archway and niche. Then continue to Monywa city. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel,early morning visit to the local market.Then take a local ferry across the Chindwin River
and drive to visit a sandstone cave system in the Po Win Hills,named after a famous “Zawgyi"(alchemist) who
once lived here.The Caves of Po Win Taung ,numbering more than one hundred are full of Buddhist statues and
murals .Then drive back to Mandalay .Lunch & Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel , drive through Maymyo on a horse drawn “stage coach”,sightseeing on oldBritish style buildings & city tour. Visit Maymyo City Bazaar & lunch at restaurant. Return to Mandalay and continue visit U-Bein Bridge,a kilometer long made entirely by teak woods across a big lake and enjoy panoramic sunset view from the bridge . Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for flight to Heho to visit Inle lake-famous for its unique leg rowers.Tour along the lake by boat, visit Floating farm,Floating Market,lacquer-ware shops, Phaungdaw-Oo pagoda,the holiest religious site in southern Shan State,NgaPheKyaung Monastery famous for its “jumping cats”.Lunch at rest.
